Giggy/GigMate Australia Account deletion request

Users of the Giggy/GigMate mobile app in Australia can request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to submit a deletion request and what data will be removed.

How to request account deletion

If you created an account in the Giggy/GigMate mobile app (Australia) and want to delete it, please submit your request using one of the methods below:

Please include the following information

  • The email address used to register in Giggy/GigMate app
  • A clear request stating “Account Deletion- Giggy/GigMate Australia”

What data will be deleted

After verirfication, Giggy/GigMate will permanently delete:

  • User Profile information
  • Contact details
  • Service listing
  • Account preferences

Data Retension

Certain information may be retained where required under Australian law, Including:

  • Transcation records
  • Tax & Financial information

Deletion Timeframe

Account deletion request are processed within 30days after successful verification of the request
